Thermo-Sun-GP® Medium
Single Glazing

THERMO-SUN Laminated safety glass is manufactured from one sheet of float quality and one sheet medium solar control glass bonded together with one or more PVB interlayers (Polyvinyl Butyral). Our Solar control coatings reflect solar energy and minimize heat gain.

All our solar products can now be used monolithically when the coating is installed on the inside surfaces of the window. Glass thicknesses are nominal.

Colours- In addition to our THERMO-SUN Neutral laminated safety glass, THERMO-SUN Laminated Safety glass offers a variety of tinted medium reflective glass products. More than one colour vinyl can be added to give the glass a “Deep “tint. It is recommended that a thermal stress evaluation is done on laminated safety glass with a high heat absorption, prior to installation.

Our Solar control coatings reflect solar energy and minimize heat gain. The density of the reflective coating determines the performance of the product. All our solar products can now be used monolithically when the coating is installed on the inside surfaces of the window. Glass thicknesses are nominal.

Low E coated glass is incorporated to the inner surface of the glass, coating to be on surface four, which increases the thermal insulation of the glass assisting with energy efficiency legislation. The coating must be on the surface of the glass facing the interior of the building.

Single Glazing

THERMO-SUN SE is a solar control glass with a hard pyrolytic coating. It is suitable for a large variety of processing options, including toughening, laminating, bending and silk-screen printing. Available in four colours: Clear, Grey, Azur and Dark Blue Can be assembled into double glazed units with a low-e glass to provide higher levels of thermal insulation and solar control. Recommended for coated surface in position 2 – inside building or double glazed unit. Superb appearance and visual comfort, thanks to a high level of light transmission and low reflection.
